This comeback of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked immense excitement within the community. Starting with the gradual reveal of fresh additions ahead of the title's launch, to players developing firm opinions on the full roster of new Megas, there's plenty for enthusiasts to anticipate.

With many of the Mega Evolutions boasting distinctive appearances that emphasize their personalities, one idea naturally: How can link this with astrology? The following is based on a mix of intuition, sign stereotypes, and personal experience.

The Ram – Mega Camerupt

Honestly, Houndour's evolution was almost selected for this fire sign, as they are the Mega Pokémon and astrological sign that evoke the greatest apprehension. But, a Super Houndoom appears as constantly angry, which doesn't match the Ram's energy, known for being playful, light-hearted, and impulsive. That's why the Ram much more similar to Super Camerupt, which only erupts when provoked. Remain on the good side of both and benefit from a strong ally; if you cross them, prepare to get burned.

The Bull – Mega Heracross

Virgo – Mega Victreebel

The ever-prepared and constantly-worried Virgo is ideally encapsulated in Mega Victreebel, the Super Form with perpetual acid reflux. The sign famous for being charmingly critical is clearly reflected across this creature's entire evolutionary chain, from a perpetually shocked expression like a Virgo when you tell them you lack a 401(k), to its inverted visage that’s just like the emoji a Virgo posts to the chatroom when all says they want to “go with the flow” instead of making a strategy.

Libra – Mega Audino

Observe this sweet, sensitive being, who employs the sensors on its ears to tell how people are feeling by their pulse. Consistently empathetic – sometimes to a detriment – and trying to maintain the harmony, there are numerous Libras who would probably benefit from Super Audino's abilities. However, to be frank, it would probably just make them stress more about everyone else.

Scorpio – Super Banette

This Ghost-type is a creature with a unexpectedly sad origin: Abandoned as a toy, it gained sentient through pure hatred and swore revenge on its former owner. According to the official info, Super Evolution, “increases its spitefulness.” That sounds precisely like several conversations I’ve had with my intense Scorpio friends. A Scorpion adores cosmic justice and comeuppance, making them the ideal pair with Super Banette.

Sagittarius – Super Hawlucha

Both Mega Hawlucha and Archers are constantly staging a show. As a Archer myself, the number of times I’ve referred to myself some version of a “silly little jester” is countless. The showiest and most obnoxious Mega Evolution, its Pokédex entry even notes how it “poses to show off its strength.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Mega evolved form, making Super Hawlucha the most apt Archer counterpart I can imagine.

Capricorn – Mega Absol

Were you aware that a Super Absol has the power to predict calamities in advance? That gives the exact same vibe as a Capricorn, who often always think they’re correct.
