The former president's Granddaughter Receives Expert Advice from Tiger Woods Prior to LPGA First Appearance
The rising star has substantial social media presence
The young golfer will have multiple well-known supporters as she starts her professional golf debut later this week.
This teenage golfer, who is connected to a former US president, received a tournament invitation to play at Florida's Annika event in Florida.
Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, operates multiple golf courses and frequently matches against Kai.
"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we have some close matches," she mentioned.
Kai explained that Trump, unable to come, told her: "Just avoid anxiety."
"He basically told me to compete and enjoy myself," she continued.
"From my perspective, he's simply an ordinary family member. He's not attending this weekend. He's busy with running the country, so he's quite busy."
While still amateur, the golfer has played in just three tournaments this year and maintains position 461 in AJGA rankings.
But she can seek guidance from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with her mother.
"He is the best player in the world," Kai expressed.
"Furthermore, he's an even better person. He suggested me to go out there, have fun, and go with the flow."
The golfer will compete against multiple most prominent players in professional golf at this tournament, featuring world number two Nelly Korda, England's Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
Tournament organizers commented that involving Kai helps introduce the sport to different demographics, particularly reaching youth audiences.
The young star boasts a massive following and just introduced an exclusive fashion and living brand.
She begins at late afternoon GMT.
